I  have worked in the field of Graphic Design since 1978, living and working in New York City until 2004, when I moved to upstate NY. In the town of Cherry Valley I have a freelance studio, SpitzhoffDesign, where I do design work for event promotion and other needs of non-profit arts organizations.
My decades of experience includes exhibition graphics, materials for non-profit development, educational materials, book design, packaging, real estate graphics, and information graphics.
I have a M.S. in Information Design and Technology from SUNY Polytechnic, an MFA from Brooklyn College, and a BFA from St. Johns University.
I am presently an Assistant Professor at SUNY Oneonta, where I teach Graphic Design and Computer Art in the Art Department.
